3. Playing With Your Phone During Meetings

Meetings are held to discuss important topics, and not for officemates to have free time off their desks and play games on their smartphones. So, whenever you’re in a meeting and someone is presenting, it is important to listen and take down notes. If you can’t seem to leave your phone on your desk, use it to record and take key points from the meeting. Refrain from using your smartphones and tablets to chat and play games, because it makes you look unprofessional and can earn the ire of your manager/s.
