10. All Genetically Modified Foods (GMOs) are bad for you.

“Non-GMO” is label you may have seen whilst perusing the “health aisle” of your grocery shop. GMOs are not proven to be harmful to human health. GMOs have long existed, the corn we see today in the grocery store is a GMO. This belief may have stemmed from the fact that people are fearful that the modified genes of the organism will directly affect their genes, which is untrue. There is no grave threat to eating GMOs just as there is no grave threat to eating non-GMOs

These myths are just some of the health and wellness myths that circulate social media every day. Even though you may have believe some (or all) of these myths, there is always time to shift beliefs, now you can have your big bowl of pasta, with plain water and some candy afterward. Health does not have to be a strict rule book. It doesn’t have to be salads for every meal and buzz words on food labels.
