If you need a sign to be yourself today, this is it.

Creative powerhouse Lady Gaga was born in 1986. According to her, she was classically trained in music and has been learning how to play the piano at age 4.

For years, she graced the stage of New York clubs to perfect the Lady Gaga persona.

As an artist, she is known to be experimental— from the iconic meat dress that is now displayed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to the chart-topping songs that proved that she is more than just a pop singer.

In 2011, Gaga founded the Born This Way foundation, an organization that addresses bullying and low self-esteem among the youth. She is also a human rights advocate. However, apart from all of those, what Gaga wants you to constantly remind you is to never forget who you are.

With that, we’ll leave you one of her quotes: “Don’t you ever let a soul in the world tell you that you can’t be exactly who you are.”
