Philippine Air Force (PAF) air units continue to airlift essential food supplies to Catanduanes, one of the provinces in Bicol Region hit hardest by Super Typhoon Pepito (international name Man-yi).

PAF spokesperson Col. Ma. Consuelo Castillo said in a statement Wednesday that a C-130 and an NC-212i were deployed from Pasay City to Virac Airport in Catanduanes to transport relief supplies, including 800 boxes of family food packs.

Castillo said the PAF remains a “steadfast and reliable partner” in the disaster response and recovery efforts following a series of typhoons hitting the country in less than a month.

She assured that PAF would reach the most affected communities to deliver aid. (PNA)
