Fooda Saversmart, Cebu City’s homegrown supermarket, announced its closing of all its branches on Thursday, August 26.

The management took the announcement on Facebook, thanking consumers for supporting them for 19 years. The supermarket will close in September.

Cebuano consumers were saddened after knowing the closure of their to-go grocery store with all their childhood memories and the company’s services all throughout the years.

As a result, the supermarket will be holding a ‘closing out sale’ until September 22 or until supplies last.

Upon hearing the announcement, shoppers flocked to all its branches.

Fooda Saversmart has 3 operating branches in Cebu City and 2 are in Talisay City and Consolacion town in northern Cebu.
