Kapamilya singer Darren’s dance challenge for his latest single “Bibitaw Na” has already spawned over 1.3 million views on TikTok two weeks after the song’s release.
Aside from netizens who are taking the blues away with the easy dance sequence, celebrities such as Martin Nievera, KZ Tandingan, Colet and Sheena of BINI, and Cassy Legaspi have also taken on the fun challenge.
Meanwhile, the Asia’s Pop Heartthrob opened “It’s Showtime” last Saturday (Sept. 30) with the engaging performance of his dance-pop track, dedicating it to those who are on the verge of quitting.
“Sa lahat ng mga nakaranas na ng sitwasyon na ganun who found themselves in the same light na kailangan nang bumitaw for their own good, para sa inyo po ito,” said Darren on “It’s Showtime.”
In a previous Instagram post, he described “Bibitaw Na,” which he composed himself, as “the perfect relapse-no-more anthem.” He first performed the song in “ASAP Natin ‘To” in Milan followed by its digital drop last Sept. 15.
