In celebration of Pride Month, actress Klea Pineda and her girlfriend Katrice Kierulf shared their coming-out stories, highlighting the beauty of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Just in time for the recently held Pride March on June 24, couple Klea and Katrice shared a sentimental post on their Instagram account about being part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Being happy about the decision on her sexual identity that she made three months ago, Klea marked her coming-out journey.

“It has been 3 months since I came out. Since then, the community has embraced me and showered me with nothing but love and support,” she said.

In her shared post, she disclosed the happiness that she experienced after coming out, which led her to find people who genuinely supported her.

“I am beyond grateful to be an inspiration to some of you in my own little ways. I wish I can hug each and every one of you to repay the immense love that you give me,” Klea wrote.

On the other hand, her girlfriend, Katrice, also shared how she became more open to her feelings when she became true to her sexual identity.

“Like many people in this community, I thought it was just a phase brought by being young and naïve. Growing up from a rather conservative family, I tried to suppress these feelings for fear of rejection or being misunderstood,” she said.

Noting her experiences, Katrice highlighted her gratitude to Klea for helping her love herself even more and showing her true self.

“I am completely happy with the kind of love that we share and I wouldn’t have it in any other way,” she wrote.

Together with their posts, Klea and Katrice showed support for the LGBTQIA+ community by standing up and fighting for its rights.

“In a world where we have to fight for our basic needs and rights, know that I am here for you, and I stand in solidarity with you! Happy Pride Month, loves!” Klea wrote.

The couple officially made their relationship public right after Klea disclosed being part of the LGBT community, on the same date as her 24th birthday.
