From meeting her idol, Ne-Yo, during the Miss Universe competition to interacting with him again during a concert, Catriona Gray really is living her fangirl dream!
On January 23, famous international singer and songwriter Ne-Yo had a concert in Manila, which was attended by lots of netizens and even artists such as Catriona Gray.
Before the concert, Catriona shared a photo of her stunning outfit and even expressed her excitement to see her idol.
The Miss Universe queen couldn’t hold back her emotions when she joined Ne-Yo on stage and even got to speak to him during the performance.
Catriona admittedly said that she was nervous at first because she doesn’t know how to dance when Ne-Yo asked someone from the audience.
“But then everyone around me was pointing to me and, taking notice, one of the stage managers picked me to take me to the stage. Kinabahan ako tulooooy. (…) I can’t dance but I know how to WUAALLKKKK,” she captioned on one of her Instagram posts.
On her Twitter account, she reposted a tweet from a netizen showing her 2018 clip with Ne-Yo and their recent interaction.
Along with the post, the beauty queen shared how she was grateful to meet her idol up close for the second time.
International singer Ne-Yo even asked Catriona to do her famous “lava walk” during her Miss Universe competition as the beauty queen went up to the stage.
Truly, both Catriona and Ne-Yo were amused to see each other once again after their interaction at Miss Universe 2018.
