President Ferdinand R. Marcos on Friday received his portrait painted by artist Alvin Hipolito.

Hipolito presented the portrait painting to Marcos during a courtesy call at Malacañang Palace in Manila, according to a statement from the Office of the Press Secretary (OPS).

“President Ferdinand R. Marcos on Friday expressed gratitude after receiving a portrait of him made by renowned artist Alvin Hipolito,” said Undersecretary Cheloy Garafil, OPS Officer-in-Charge.

Marcos posed alongside his portrait after the turnover ceremony.

Hipolito also painted a portrait of former president Rodrigo Duterte, turned over on Nov. 7, 2016, also at the Palace.
