Thanks to Webtoon, a type of digital comic app that originated in South Korea and is typically intended to be read on computers and smartphones. Because of the success of Webtoon authors and the popularity of their works, many Webtoon comics have been adapted into series, with many appearing on Netflix.

1. All Of Us Are Dead

This Webtoon-based turned Netflix adaptation follows a group of students stuck in a high school and finds themselves in a tough spot as they strive to be saved from a zombie outbreak in their school, All of Us Are Dead accumulated 236.2 million hours of streaming for the week between January and shocking the world with its thriller, coming-of-age zombie apocalypse.
