Michael Lindsay-Hogg was the one who recorded 55 hours of unreleased material and 140 hours of audio from the recording sessions.

Scenes are strictly edited and focused on the band’s 1969 rooftop performance for a private audience at their Apple Studios’ London headquarters.

Jackson apparently acquired too much great material for a single film, so he and Disney decided to broadcast the documentary in three two-hour installments.

The footage has been restored to such a good degree that it seems to have been shot yesterday rather than almost 53 years ago.

The extent to which this footage captures disagreement amongst the band members remains unclear. The “Get Back” sessions crumbled, partially because they attempted to record the album in a method unusual from their past achievements.

Meanwhile, The Beatles’ last live performance as a group is shown in its entirety for the very first time in the documentary and fans will be able to see all of this talent and drama in a way they have never seen before.

The three-part series is set to premiere on Disney+ on November 25th, 26th, and 27th. In anticipation, Disney+ has released a wonderful new trailer which you can watch here:
