Klarisse De Guzman notched her second win in “Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 3” last Sunday (March 22) with her performance as the legendary singer Minnie Riperton.

The Soul Diva’s rendition of Minnie’s classic song “Lovin’ You” earned her the highest points from jury members Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid, and Sharon Cuneta and even got the votes of some of her fellow celebrity performers.

With a score of 30, Klarisse was six points ahead of another former weekly winner CJ Navato, who turned in another strong performance this time as female rock icon Alanis Morissette.

After five weeks, only three celebrity performers have become weekly winners in the hit Kapamilya musical variety competition. Klarisse and Jhong Hilario have won the P50,000 weekly pot twice, while the viral crooner has one win under his belt.

The amazing transformations and world-class performances continue this weekend as celebrity performers take on their new assignments with the help of performance mentor Nyoy Volante and voice mentor Jed Madela.

Klarisse will transform into Mariah Carey, CJ will perform as Barry Manilow, Christian Bables will take the stage as Michael Jackson, and Jhong will bring back Bob Marley. Music fans should also watch out for the numbers of Geneva Cruz as Freddie Aguilar, iDolls as Boyz 2 Men, Lie Reposposa as Lolita Carbon, and Vivoree Esclito as Rihanna.

Viewers should also watch out for the fun challenges that host Luis Manzano will give to the jury and celebrity performers as well as his conversations with some of the show’s virtual audience.
