2. The Indecisive Applicant

Of course, we always want to get the job we want, even the company we want to work for. But sometimes, there are the “paasa” applicants who will commit, then God knows what happened, will ust disappear.

ACTUAL SCENARIOS:
(1) An OJT accepted an offer, then two weeks after, she went missing. Can’t be reached. No word if she will still come or not.
(2) An applicant was scheduled for an interview. No show. Four hours later, she texted if we can reconsider. We agreed. She texted that she got lost. After 30 minutes of continuous text exchanges, she just gave up. “Sir, nawawala po ako, hindi na lang po ako tutuloy.” The office is in the Greenbelt area, the applicant was in Glorietta. Aaargh! She graduated from a school along Taft.
