Twenty-six-year-old Allan Jay “AJ” Dumanhug, the youngest CEO of a Philippine cybersecurity company, despite his hectic schedule, still finds the time to impart his knowledge to young students.

The head of Secuna, the first and the only crowdsourced cybersecurity Testing Platform in the country, is a Certified Cybersecurity Professional and Professional Ethical Hacker.

Although his self-founded company was his first professional job, Dumanhug served as a full-time consultant for almost three years for the University of the Philippines System under UP Information Technology Development Center (ITDC).

Currently, he is a cybersecurity mentor for startups through Ideaspace Philippines, a Highly Technical Consultant for the National Privacy Commission. He is likewise a part-time Infosec Training Instructor at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde School for Professional and Continuing Education (SPaCE).

Dumanhug delves in the undertaking to assist corporations, organizations and even the government secure their digital assets.

“I am delighted to be the CEO of Secuna at a critical time when companies need to embrace cybersecurity at the core level of their businesses,” he said.

Furthermore, beyond his huge role in Secuna and his other commitments in teaching and consultancy, Dumanhug likewise finds the time to further spread his expertise. “I share my knowledge in cybersecurity and data privacy with various organizations such as the Department of Information and Communications, the National Privacy Commission and several Non-Government Organizations through seminars and webinars.
