Wowowin, a Filipino variety game show, announced their last episode on February 11, following the contract expiration of host Willie Revillame with GMA Network on February 15.
Speculations arose after photos of Revillame and business magnate Manny Villar, who then purchased the frequencies previously owned by ABS-CBN and is now owned by the Advanced Media Broadcasting System Inc., surfaced online.
Moreover, GMA Network has released a statement, clarifying that Revillame’s contract expires on February 15, and the show will air until next Friday, February 11.
“We wish him good luck in his future endeavors,” GMA Network wrote.
Revillame has not yet released a statement.

Some Twitter users thanked Revillame for helping Filipinos through his show, while others expressed mixed feelings about the end of his contract with GMA.
Thanks kuya wel for the sweet 5 years with us. Sorry, pero silid Kapuso ako eh. Hindi mo rin naman ako natatawagan. Anyway, beat of luck to you and your show. We always pray na laging okay ka para mas marami ka pang matulungan lalo na yung mga lubos na nangangailangan.
