A Philippine public relations leader will participate in the Salon des Communicateurs d’Afrique Centrale (Central Africa Communicators Forum) 2026, a major international gathering of communication professionals scheduled from 25 to 27 November 2026 at the Yaoundé Congress Palace in Cameroon.

Organized by the Association des Communicateurs en Marche (ACOMA) and supported by the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), the forum brings together communication leaders, policymakers, academics, and practitioners to examine the evolving role of communication in governance, corporate reputation, and sustainable development.

The event carries the theme “Communication on Display: Highlighting the Professions, Practices, and Ecosystems of Organizational Communication in Central Africa.” It seeks to strengthen professional standards in communication practice while promoting ethical and responsible public relations across the region.

Representing the Philippines at the forum is Dr. Ron F. Jabal,APR Chairman and CEO of PAGEONE Group and a recognized authority on reputation management and strategic communication. He joins a distinguished group of international communication experts invited to share insights on the future of public relations, institutional credibility, and strategic communication in an increasingly complex global environment.

The three-day forum will feature keynote conferences, professional forums on public relations and corporate communication, entrepreneurship seminars for emerging communication professionals, and networking sessions among industry leaders and practitioners. The program will also include creative competitions for young communicators and an exhibition space showcasing communication initiatives across Central Africa.

The event will conclude with the African Communication Awards, recognizing outstanding achievements in the communication profession, including best communication agency, best communication campaign, director of communication of the year, young communication talent, and innovation in communication practice.

Dr. Jabal’s participation underscores the growing collaboration between communication professionals in Africa and the global community, particularly as institutions navigate challenges related to public trust, digital transformation, crisis communication, and sustainable development.

As Chairman and CEO of PAGEONE Group, Dr. Jabal leads one of the Philippines’ most dynamic reputation and strategic communications networks. His work spans advisory roles for international development organizations and institutions including the World Bank, USAID, the European Union, and the Asian Development Bank, where he has contributed expertise in strategic communication, crisis management, stakeholder engagement, and governance communication.

The Central Africa Communicators Forum aims to foster dialogue, strengthen professional networks, and highlight the critical role communication plays in shaping institutional credibility and development across the region.
