Vice President Leni Robredo paid a visit to the family of Antonio Evangelista, a tricycle driver and carpenter, who are residing along the revetment wall of Pasig River in Brgy. Santolan, Pasig City, on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019.

VP Leni’s office, under its Angat Buhay program, provided assistance to Evangelista’s family, including a P10,000 cash to allow them to start a small business. This was made possible through the help of Angat Buhay partners Metro United Livelihood Initiatives, Inc. (MULI), Democratic Alliance Movement of the Philippines – International (DAMPI), and Alitaptap.

Two other families from Brgy. Santolan also received Christmas packs and hygiene kits from the OVP and its partners. ( OVP)
