Filipino actor, comedian, and television host Vice Ganda released an Instagram statement on It’s Showtime’s airing transfer to GMA’s GTV Channel on June 20.

In her Instagram post, Vice Ganda encouraged the audience to remain calm amidst the latest news as the show will continue its purpose of bringing hope and enjoyment to its audience.

“May kaguluhan at kabilisan ang mga ganap. Ganunpaman, kalma lang (at least try). Nakakabigla man ang mga nangyayari, sabi nga ng linya ko sa kanta natin, “Basta’t kasama Kapamilya, kahit ano pa ‘yan kayang-kaya!” he said.

She also emphasized that the heart of their audience, the Madlang People, will always be their show’s true home.

“Madami nang walang kasiguraduhan, pero sigurado akong mahal tayo ng minamahal nating Madlang People. At ang pagmamahal na yun ang bumuhay sa’tin sa bawat paghihingalong naranasan noon. Ang puso ng Madlang People ang TOTOONG TAHANAN natin.”

In her ending statement, Vice Ganda reminded everyone that when life takes one thing away from us, it also replaces it with something else, and this makes us grateful for life.

A few hours before Vice Ganda penned a message, ABS-CBN News released a statement, expressing its appreciation to TV5 Chairman Manny Pangilinan for his support and its heartfelt gratitude to GMA’s GTV Channel for adopting the show to its welcoming abode.

It’s Showtime brought joy and entertainment to local and international Madlang People with its original home, ABS-CBN, for 14 years.
