Those looking for a meaningful way to celebrate Christmas may go and shop at Paskong MEZaya, a bazaar and trade fair organized by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) in partnership with NGO Junior Chamber International Cebu (JCI Cebu).

Dubbed as the island’s biggest annual bazaar-for-a-cause since 1990, it offers factory-priced bargains and showcases the province’s homemade products from November 17 to December 29 at the Mactan Economic Zone.

It also has as beneficiaries the charity organizations Philippine Society for Orphan Disorders, and Missionaries of the Poor Philippines.

JCI Cebu President Jacques Estola encourages Cebuanos to visit the bazaar to help these organizations while boosting the local economy.

“We at JCI Cebu are thankful to PEZA and our partners for this opportunity to contribute in supporting the recovery of businesses especially micro, small and medium enterprises. May this project spread joy to everyone as they safely shop-for-a-cause this Christmas season,” added Estola.

The oldest, premier all-male JCI Local Organization in Southern Philippines has been supporting this Christmas bazaar for the second consecutive year.

Stalls at this bazaar will be at an especially affordable rental price in aid entrepreneurs from various industries. The MEZ where it will be located is accessible to its 65,000 employees and almost half a million residents of Lapu-Lapu City.

To participate in the bazaar, interested entrepreneurs may send inquiries to christmezbazaar@gmail.com or https://www.facebook.com/christmezbazaar.
