Balik-Universal Records, balik-kaldag! The Masculados are back with a brand-new single, “SAGING,” dropping this September 4, 2026. From hotdog to saging kung may iba kayong naisip sa title, hindi na namin kasalanan ‘yan. Expect nothing less than 100% KALDAGAN ENERGY!

Known for their energetic performances and unmistakable sound, the Masculados are bringing back the same group fans have grown to love, this time with a more modern musical approach. And for a song like “SAGING,” siyempre kailangan may visual accompaniment, the music video will be released on the same day as the song. “SAGING” is a fun, catchy, and playful track built around cheeky lyrics about everyone’s favorite yellow fruit: bananas.

The upcoming release marks the group’s first new track following their return to Universal Records, the label that helped launch Masculados into the spotlight. Their reunion with the label has already kicked off with a fresh take on one of their biggest hits, “Jumbo Hotdog,” which received a budots makeover from internationally acclaimed Davao-based DJ, DJ Love, the artist credited with creating and popularizing the genre.

The members have expressed their excitement about working with the label again, saying, “Looking forward kami sa mga projects ulit, kasi dito nagsimula ang mga songs namin at dito naman nakilala rin ang Masculados.” While the sound may be getting a modern update, fans can still expect the same Masculados energy. The group has promised nothing less than their signature “100% kaldagan” as they enter this new chapter.
