TFC expands its viewership in the Asia Pacific as it strengthens its partnership with two of the biggest names in OTT services in the region, Telstra and HD Telecom.

“TFC as the leading Filipino media network in the world continues with its vision to reach all Filipinos in the world through carriage expansion and content distribution. Our partnerships with industry leaders like Telstra and HD Telecom help us greatly in achieving this vision,” said ABS-CBN Global Managing Director for Asia Pacific Maribel Hernaez.

Telstra is Australia’s leading communications and technology company, which offers both digital connection and digital content and has an international presence in over 20 countries.

With TFC’s partnership with Telstra, its online platform, TFC Online (www.TFC.tv), is now being seen on its OTT platform Telstra TV. This boosts TFC’s reach across Australia with Telstra TV’s 1.4 million subscribers in all of Australia.

On the other hand, HD Telecom is among the top telecommunications and content aggregators in South Korea. Through HD Telecom’s OTT platform Vision PH, TFC’s world-class Filipino content is made available to the 60,000 Filipino expats in South Korea since 2018.

With 21 global branches and subsidiaries, HD Telecom looks at a bigger horizon for Vision PH as it carries TFC to wider audiences in the future. “Once we gain enough footing, HD telecom plans to expand further its services to reach more people in South East Asia,” says Leah Michelle Lopez Cembrano, Marketing Officer of HD Telecom.

As the viewing needs of the overseas Filipinos change over the years, TFC evolves with them not only by bringing them relevant content but also considering the convenience in accessing information and entertainment.
