Action comedy anime series “Spy x Family” released a collaborative movie poster with the seventh and latest installment of the hit action film series “Mission: Impossible.”

On July 10, the anime series uploaded a movie poster to its Twitter account.

On the right-hand side of the poster, father-spy Loid Forger is seen recreating the pose and expression of Ethan Hunt, played by Tom Cruise, from the “Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One” film.

Aside from the Forger family, supporting characters such as Fiona Frost, Yuri Briar, Franky Franklin, and Sylvia Sherwood are reproduced to recreate the Mission: Impossible poster in the anime version.

The collaborative poster of the two action series served as a promotion for the upcoming Japanese releases of the movies “Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One” on July 21 and “Spy x Family Code: White” on December 22.

In Spy x Family’s teaser trailer for “Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One,” Loid, Yor, and Anya Forger are heard providing a brief and entertaining commentary.

While the two espionage action movies are unique in their own ways, both are still geared towards the spy heroes, Ethan Hunt and Loid Forger, embarking on two separate deadly missions to save all of mankind, including their loved ones, and protect world peace.

An original storyline by Spy x Family creator Tatsuya Endo, the “Spy x Family Code: White” trailer can be watched on the official website of Spy x Family.
