BLACKPINK, who? Megastar Sharon Cuneta treats her fans, “Sharonians” to a K-pop-inspired item—her own official lightstick.

The actress-singer shows off the lightstick which has a huge “M” at the center, and “Megastar” and “Sharon Cuneta” written on it, on her Instagram page last Monday, June 27.

Light sticks are commonly used by Korean fandoms to show their support during their idols’ concerts.

“Our first official lightstick! Will be ready and out for purchase before my next Manila concert! (I know medyo tagal pa, but at least nauna na tayo at meron nang ready!),” she captioned.

It’s no secret that Cuneta is a K-pop fan herself. She recently attended the “Begin Again: KPOP Edition” concert where she cried after seeing SHINee’s member, Key.

Meanwhile, the Megastar’s fans expressed their excitement over the announcement, with @gens_faye saying in all caps, “Habang kumakanta kapo ng mga greatest hits mo tas sabay sabay yan winawagayway OMGG…”

“Sharon sumbaenim, hwaiting!!!,” @011293do also commented, referring to Cuneta as “sunbaenim,” which is a Korean honorific for a person with more experience in a certain field.

Other details, such as the pricing of the lightstick are yet to be shared by the singer.

On June 17 and 18, Sharon Cuneta had her “Iconic” concert, together with Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, at the Marriott Grand Ballroom. Fellow celebrities Robin Padilla, Jolina Magdangal, and Nikki Valdez were present at the said concert.
