In order to become a public servant, a candidate must be someone that is understanding, open to learning, and willing to engage with the community.

These characteristics are evident to most of the public officials in the country, but these mayors are hailed not only for their service but also for their overflowing appeal and charisma!

1. Mayor Vico Sotto

Even those who are not residents of Pasig City are getting loco over Mayor Vico Sotto! Almost every event in the local city becomes trending when this politician arrives.

Mayor Sotto is the son of actor-comedian-host Vic Sotto and actress Coney Reyes. This well-known politician began his journey in politics in 2019 and is still serving the city of Pasig in the present.

2. Mayor Mark Alcala

At the age of 26, Mayor Mark Alcala entered the world of politics which made him the youngest mayor in Lucena City. His term started as he succeeded in the governance of his father Roderick Alcala.

Not only known for his good physical features, Mayor Alcala also embodied the public servant of the new millennium by showing youth, optimism, and innovation in conventional politics.

3. Mayor Art Mercado

After winning the recent election, Mayor Mercado has served the residents of San Pedro Laguna. The city mayor became trending nationwide not only because of his appeal but also because of his public service to the community.

Recently, Mayor Mercado organized a gift-giving event for his constituents, distributing thousands of presents this Christmas season.

4. Mayor Francis “Kiko” Dy

Mayor Francis Faustino Dy is currently serving as mayor of the municipality of Echague in Isabela province. During elections, this politician was running under the Lakas Christian Muslim Democrats.

Besides serving good looks, this mayor was also known for his participation in different government activities such as signing a memorandum to promote renewable energy in their province.

5. Mayor Arth Bryan Celeste

Mayor Celeste also started his journey in politics early as he was elected as a mayor of Alaminos City in Pangasinan Province at the age of 22.

After graduating from his college course, Mayor Arth Celeste already followed his father’s political journey which declared him to be one of the youngest mayors nationwide.

This mayor was also known through his relief initiatives for residents in Alaminos during the pandemic.
