Selena Gomez received her first Grammy nomination for the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards after nearly a decade of making music.

Along with Pablo Alborán (Vértigo), Paula Arenas (Mis Amores), Ricardo Arjona (Hecho a la Antigua), Camilo (Mis Manos), and Alex Cuba (Mendó), her Spanish album, Revelación, is nominated for Best Latin Pop Album.

Selena has never been nominated for a Grammy in the United States before. Fans were ecstatic to join Sel G on Twitter to commemorate the occasion.

Selena’s song “De Una Vez” was nominated for a Latin Grammy in the Best Short Form Music Video category earlier this year. Since it was her first full-length Spanish song, being acknowledged by the Recording Academy is a major thing for her.
