An official Pinoy Music’s chance for a golden gramophone is now in the hands of Pinoy Pop Group SB19 with their sensational song ‘Gento’.

Now a self-managed group with their newly launched company, 1Z Entertainment, SB19’s back-to-back scheduled activities and recognitions continue to trend all over the world.

Their official song ‘Gento’ premiered on May 19 and now has a total of 30.6 million views on YouTube, while on TikTok, the song tallied up to 1.8 million dance covers.

In just 12 days, Gento landed at number 8 on the Billboard Music Charts under World Digital Song Sales. The group captioned: “A’TIN! You keep taking us to heights unimaginable. What you are is truly amazing.”
Fast forward to October 13, when Sony Music Philippines campaigned for a Grammy consideration along with SB19’s 1Z Entertainment for ‘Gento’ under the category Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Sony Music Philippines also encouraged Filipinos to share the post before October 20 or until recognized by the Grammy voting members.

In addition, the post also included statements from renowned local and international business magazines.

Official nominees will be released on November 10, while Grammy Awards night is set for February 2024.
