Filipino pop sensation Sarah Geronimo is set to make history at the prestigious Women in Music Awards by Billboard. Alongside international talents, Geronimo will receive the coveted Global Force Award, becoming the first Filipina to achieve this recognition. The awards ceremony, celebrating women’s exceptional contributions to the music industry, will take place on March 6, 2024, at the YouTube Theater in California, USA.

Since its inception in 2007, the Billboard Women in Music Awards have evolved into a significant platform for honoring influential women in the music industry. Renowned figures such as Madonna, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, and Katy Perry have all been recipients of the prestigious Woman of the Year award. The introduction of the Global Force Award marks a notable addition to the 2024 edition. With her exceptional talent and international appeal, Sarah Geronimo is poised to make history as the first Filipina to receive this esteemed recognition.
