Robin Padilla’s character, Ahmad Mustapha, meets a tragic end as government destabilization escalates in ABS-CBN’s hit primetime series “Blood vs Duty.”
Serving as the presidential chief of staff and Jalil’s (Gerald Anderson) secret ally, Mustapha ended up as the latest victim of the mastermind, retired general Manuel Carillo, after a tense face-off that culminated in his death.
Robin has stood out as a Muslim character in the action-drama, portraying the role with authenticity and dignity and helping broaden the representation of Muslims beyond familiar stereotypes.
The veteran actor previously thanked ABS-CBN for the opportunity to represent the Muslim community through the series.
“Ako po ay nagpapasalamat ng buong puso sa balanseng paglalahad sa istorya patungkol sa buhay ng mga kababayan ninyong mga Filipino Muslim.
