For the first time, the real-life couple Maris Racal and Rico Blanco will be acting together for the upcoming series titled “The Goodbye Girl” in 2022.

The Dreamscape Entertainment, a Philippine television production company, posted on their Instagram page a story conference starring possible characters for the series that was held last Wednesday.

Racal and Blanco were featured in the post but still unclear what roles they will be playing in the series. And also starring other renowned actors and actresses like Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte, Barbie Imperial, Angelica Panganiban, JC De Vera, Elisse Joson, and RK Bagatsing.

Director Roderick Cabrido, an award-winning Filipino documentary producer and filmmaker will be leading “The Goodbye Girl” in association with Cleverminds Incorporation.

The singer and actress, Racal, 25, and the Rivermaya’s frontman, Blanco, 48, confirmed their relationship to the public last May. They started to work together in 2019 especially when they collaborated on Racal’s single track “Abot Langit.”

Updates about the film’s release date have yet to be confirmed.
