The Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO-5) on Wednesday offered a one-stop service initiative to make government services more responsive, accessible and meaningful for police personnel and their dependents.

The activity, which brought together various government agencies that provided specialized services, is part of the celebration of Philippine National Police (PNP) Day at Camp Simeon A. Ola in Legazpi City, Albay.

In his message, Col. Lito Andaya, PRO-5 acting chief of regional staff, said the initiative reflects PNP’s commitment to serve not only with strength but also with compassion.

“This one-stop shop was designed to bring essential services closer to our PNP personnel, their families, and the community. In one venue, we bring together government services that uplift lives, ease burdens, and strengthen the bond between the PNP and the people we serve,” Andaya said.

He thanked the partner agencies for contributing their time, expertise and resources, describing the initiative as a testament to what can be achieved through inter-agency cooperation.

“Your presence symbolizes unity, cooperation, and a shared vision of responsive and people-centered public service,” he said, adding that the activity recognizes the sacrifices of police personnel and the vital support of their families.

Andaya said the initiative is an investment in personnel welfare, partnership-building and public engagement.

Participating agencies include the Professional Regulation Commission, which assisted with licensing and registration concerns; the Philippine Statistics Authority, which facilitated the issuance of civil registry documents; and the Land Transportation Office, which provided vehicle registration and driver’s license services.

Also present were the Albay Provincial Agricultural Office, which offered agricultural guidance and support programs; PhilHealth, which assisted with health insurance registration and benefits inquiries; Pag-IBIG Fund, which provided membership and housing loan services; and Commission on Elections (Comelec), which handled voter registration and election-related concerns.

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority promoted skills training programs and assisted with enrollment, while the National Police Commission addressed police-related administrative concerns. Financial services tailored to public safety personnel were also offered by the Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund Inc., the Public Safety Savings and Loan Association Inc., and the Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loan Association Inc.–Legazpi.
