Concerts and large gatherings have been prohibited for more than two years due to COVID-19. This year, the stage is set to enchant and gather Filipinos for much-anticipated local concerts in the first quarter of 2022, as restrictions are eased and Filipinos gradually return to pre-pandemic days.
1. Gigi De Lana And The Gigi Vibes – Domination Concert
Gigi De Lana, who rose to fame as a contestant on It’s Showtime’s Tawag ng Tanghalan, is set to take the stage with her band The Gigi Vibes on March 5 at 8:00 p.m. at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.
De Lana and her band will kick off their Domination tour with ABS-CBN Event’s first live performance in two years. The Manila leg will be followed by a tour of the Middle East. They will perform on the Jubilee stage at Expo 2020 in Dubai on March 12 in collaboration with DTI, at the National Theater of Abu Dhabi on March 18, and at Crowne Plaza Bahrain on March 25 in collaboration with Filipino Club Bahrain.
The said concert will also be streamed live on KTX.ph on April 23rd, featuring the Manila concert as well as snippets from the Middle East tour.
2. Sharon Cuneta and Regine Velasquez – Iconic Concert
Don’t miss the most iconic musical event of the year as the Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid set fire at the stage at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Resorts World Manila on June 17 and 18!

3. Gloc – 9 and Shanti Dope – Rapsody Concert
The two collaborated on their hit OPM song titled “Norem” in 2018, and this year, OPM rapper legend Gloc-9 and Shanti Dope are set to perform live at their Rapsody concert at the Newport Performing Arts Theater at Resorts World Manila on April 2 at 8:00 p.m. with JKris, LOIR, and Hero.

4. SB19, BINI, BGYO, And MNL48 – PPOP Convention
