Showing off his exceptional dunking skills, Filipino athlete and pro dunker David Carlos clinched the Dunk Champion award during the Jumpshot 3×3 event in Singapore.

On January 7, the Jumpshot Singapore opened an event gathering numerous athletes worldwide as they compete in showcasing their dunking and basketball skills.

Making history both in his career and for the country, Pinoy athlete David bested all the other athletes during the said competition as he won the top award for the dunking competition during the event.

This award was a great start for David noting that he planned to go more bolder this year in his career. “First dub of the year,” he captioned on his Instagram post.

Through the Jumpshot 3×3 Facebook page, the highlights of David’s performance showed how he slammed his way to the championship title. “David’s insane talent earned him the crown as the dunk champion, and deservedly so,” the Jumpshot 3×3 said.

With his world-class talent shared during the competition, many of his supporters shared their positive sentiments about his recent win. Even international pro dunkers expressed how proud they were of the player for acing the game.

Even before this competition, David Carlos was known for participating in different international contests and also earning recognition, such as clinching the silver medal in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour in Doha in 2019 and a gold medal in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour in Chengdu in 2017.
