Amazing Pinoy talent continues to shine bright on the big stage as Cardong Trumpo and NDDU GNRLS clinched their spots in the grand finals of ABS-CBN’s “Pilipinas Got Talent” Season 7 last Sunday (June 8).

Cardong Trumpo, who solidified his spot in the grand finals with his one-of-a-kind spinning top tricks, wowed online voters and amassed a staggering 92.11%. His performance not only brought tears to his eyes but to the judges’ as well.

“Kilala kita. Kilala ko ang mukha mo. Ikaw ang mukha ng Pilipino, nagsusumikap at hindi sumusuko. Ginagamit ang regalo at ang talento. Hindi gumagawa ng masama. Pinaikot-ikot mo ang trumpo; handa ka na bang umikot ang buhay mo? ” said PGT judge Eugene Domingo.

Meanwhile, NDDU GNRLS, which performed an astonishing dance act with light tricks featuring Rivermaya’s “Liwanag Sa Dilim,” took the second spot in the online voting with 3.40%.

“PGT” judges Eugene and Kathryn Bernardo voted for NDDU GNRLS, while Freddie “FMG” M. Garcia and Donny Pangilinan chose Esay Kirstin, who gave a rocker performance of “Unchained Melody” and placed third in the online voting with 2.13%. Because of the tie in the judges’ vote, NDDU GNRLS, which placed second in the online voting, was proclaimed as the new grand finalist.

Cardong Trumpo and NDDU GNRLS have officially joined Ody Sto. Domingo, Femme MNL, JB Bangcaya, and Jessie J in the grand finals of “PGT” Season 7.

Which of the remaining acts will advance to the finals, which will be held on June 21 and 22 at Solaire Resort, Parañaque City, and get a chance to win the P2 million grand prize?
