Some of the country’s achievers including former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach and international sensation TNT Boys came together to celebrate Filipino greatness last Sunday (November 10) in line with the National Cheer Campaign.

Launched last July, the campaign aims to highlight the success of Filipinos in the world stage to inspire the nation to unite and help unleash each other’s potential for greatness. The song “Isigaw Mo” #GalingNatinIto, performed by over 20 OPM artists, serves as the campaign’s anthem.

Joining Pia and TNT Boys Francis Concepcion, Keifer Sanchez, and Mackie Empuerto at Robinsons Magnolia were Gloc 9, Leanne & Narra, Pao Gumba, JKris, the Philippine All Stars, the Dancesport Philippine Team, and the UPHSD Altas Perpsquad.

Athletes like Aby Maraño of the Philippine volleyball team, the UP Men’s Judo team, Pilipinas Ultimate Team, the Philippine Jiu Jitsu team, Mapua Track and Field Athletes, Hado Philippines, and International Downhill Federation were also in attendance alongside academic achievers Beacille Elago, Mohammed Nur Casib, Kristen Stefi Teh, Lance Chysler De Jesus, and Keean Nathaniel Tang in the field of mathematics, and Kendrick Supnet, Beacille Elago, Robin Gale Bernabe, and Katrina Marie Redshaw for architecture.

Serving as hosts of the program were “Umagang Kay Ganda” anchor Gretchen Ho, a multisport athlete that has participated in international competitions, and popular comedian Alex Calleja, who won silver in Laugh Factory’s Funniest Person in the World three years ago.

Together with the artists, athletes, and achievers, Gretchen and Alex taught the audience the “Isigaw Mo” #GalingNatinIto song and cheer, which they can perform to show support for fellow Filipinos in sporting events and competitions like the upcoming Southeast Asian Games later this month.

The official station ID for “Isigaw Mo” #GalingNatinIto features Filipino achievers from all walks of life whose heart, wisdom, and strength enable them to triumph over challenges in life. The video is played on various ABS-CBN platforms and can be viewed online on the ABS-CBN Sports YouTube channel.
