Almost all social media accounts turned pink as Vice President Leni Robredo officially announced that she will be running for President in the upcoming 2022 National Elections.
Several artists, influencers, and netizens have flaunted their pink outfits, backgrounds and changed their profile pictures into pink including the hashtags #DapatSiLeni and #LabanLeni2022 to show their support for the candidacy of Robredo.
“On Thursday We Wear Pink” campaign started with the supporters of Robredo posted on Twitter saying, “You can sit with us, yes po opo, Regina George be shookt. Tomorrow, we stand together. #DapatSiLeni #LabanLeni2022.”
Also, several posts were followed by social media influencers on the day of Robredo’s Presidential bid announcement.

Filipina actress and woman activist, Angel Locsin showed her support for Robredo by posting in her Instagram story saying “Woman will govern” with a pink background.
ABS-CBN’s Tv host and writer, Bianca Gonzales also posted in her Instagram story a pink paper with the word “Thursday” on it.
