Pink Thursday: Artists, Influencers Join “Pink Campaign” For Robredo’s Presidential Bid

Almost all social media accounts turned pink as Vice President Leni Robredo officially announced that she will be running for President in the upcoming 2022 National Elections.

Several artists, influencers, and netizens have flaunted their pink outfits, backgrounds and changed their profile pictures into pink including the hashtags #DapatSiLeni and #LabanLeni2022 to show their support for the candidacy of Robredo.

“On Thursday We Wear Pink” campaign started with the supporters of Robredo posted on Twitter saying, “You can sit with us, yes po opo, Regina George be shookt. Tomorrow, we stand together. #DapatSiLeni #LabanLeni2022.”

Also, several posts were followed by social media influencers on the day of Robredo’s Presidential bid announcement.

Here are some of the artists who joined the Pink Campaign:

First on the list is Filipina beauty queen and actress Lara Quigaman-Alcaraz who proudly showed her full pink formal attire while holding a pink tumbler.

Pokwang posted a pink ribbon on her Twitter account with the caption “My choice, my rights, respect mine I’ll respect yours.” She also changed her profile picture wearing a pink top.

Filipina actress and woman activist, Angel Locsin showed her support for Robredo by posting in her Instagram story saying “Woman will govern” with a pink background.

ABS-CBN’s Tv host and writer, Bianca Gonzales also posted in her Instagram story a pink paper with the word “Thursday” on it.

Singer, actress, and TV host, Jolina Magdangal posted on her Instagram the edited pink filter picture with her husband.

Veteran actress Agot Isidro also showed her support by changing her Twitter profile into a solid pink color.

Filipina singer and actress, Tippy Dos Santos also joined and posted on her Twitter her pink blazer.

Meanwhile, Itchyworms singer and Showtime TV host, Jugs Jugueta made an Instagram story with a solid pink background.

Comedian and actress K Brosas was stunning in her new profile picture wearing a full pink outfit.

Moreover, Filipino rock band Moonstar88 changed their Twitter profile with a plain black background which emphasized their pink outfits.

Filipina theatre actress Gab Pangilinan also changed her Twitter profile to a solid pink color and posted a selfie wearing pink.

Meanwhile, Singer and actress, Julie Ann San Jose replied on Gab Pangilinan’s Twitter post showing her pink dress and saying, “Okay na ba tong entry ko HAHAHA”

DJ Jhaiho awed the Twitter world with her pink native top.

Also, Filipina actress Gabbi Garcia has not posted any pink outfit yet she tweeted that she might wear a pink outfit in her tennis class.

Several netizens have already changed their background, profile picture, and bio with pink colors and hashtags #DapatSiLeni and #LabanLeni2022 in support of Robredo’s campaign as PH President.
