Christmas came early for the songbayanan of pharmacists and drug store employees as they took home the jackpot prize of P2,080,000 in “Everybody, Sing!” last Saturday and Sunday (November 18 and 19).
During the pre-jackpot round on Saturday, the contestants won P80,000 after guessing eight songs. On Sunday’s jackpot round, the group had 70 seconds to guess twelve songs, adding 10 more seconds after getting the bonus song. They won the P2 million jackpot prize after correctly guessing “Best Time” by BGYO.
“When you go to your workplace, maraming pagkakataon na ang bigat ng energy ng kinakausap niyo, lahat sila may pinagdadaanan. Ang mahirap doon ‘yung energy na humaharap sainyo araw-araw, minsan nakukuha niyo ‘yun. Kaya tonight, this is your break. Uuwi tayong masaya,” Vice Ganda said to the emotional songbayanan after winning the jackpot prize.
Aside from this songbayanan, only three groups won the P2,000,000 jackpot prize in the third season of the show. They are the songbayanan of fathers and children, Manila fire survivors, and garbage collectors.
