BPAD in Motion, a series of performances which spotlights the original and diverse choreographies by renowned professional dancers, will be staged beginning on Friday, April 19, 2024.

The 90-minute showcase will feature the creative works of award-winning Filipino ballet dancer Tony Fabella, French-Russian ballet pedagogue Marius Petipa, and Russian instructor Vasily Vainonen.

The mixed bill repertoire will likewise include innovative dance compositions in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and street by Ballet Philippines Principal Credits and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) Dance Program Chairperson Nina Anonas, Ballet Philippines artist Gia Gequinto, and dance educators Madonna Tinoy and Mycs Villoso.

Completing the line-up are original pieces by the college dance organization Benilde Experimental Dance and students Kiel Camarillo, Miranda Gillego, Nikki Gorre, and Maria Pazcoguin.

BPAD in Motion will focus on the artistic abilities of 37 learners from the Dance Program of the Benilde School of Arts, Culture, and Performance (SACP).

The offering will likewise serve as a fundraising event for the preparation of the aspiring talents who will represent the country for the upcoming Singapore Challenge Cup competition.

BPAD in Motion will be on view on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 6 p.m. For Saturday, April 20, 2024, performances are on 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Shows will be at the 6F Blackbox of the Benilde Design + Arts Campus, 950 Pablo Ocampo Street, Malate, Manila.
