The well-known local vlogger group ‘Team Payaman’ trended recently as netizens expressed their amusement at three of its female members for inspiring them to do everything for love.

Last August 5, vlogger Viy Cortez, one of the members of Team Payaman, uploaded a vlog titled “Lady Rider,” showing how she trained to ride a big bike to tag along with her fiance, CongTV.

In the video, netizens have witnessed how Viy endured her fear of riding a motorcycle alone just to spend time with her fiance, noting that CongTV’s recent hobby is riding a big bike.

“Hindi lang ako nagsasalita nung reveal dahil sobrang kabado talaga ako, nag fofocus talaga ako. hindi pa ako magaling. Nag aaral pa nga ako dto sa loob ng subd namin, iba ang feeling sa track iba din pag nasa tunay na kalsada ka na. Kabado ako 500%,” Viy said.

Applauding her dedication to learning her partner’s hobby, a lot of netizens expressed their positive thoughts on what she did for love.

“Learning to love your lover’s hobby or interest is really not a bad thing kasi if you have the will to do so—it’s all win-win. You’re happy, you make someone other than you happy. Faith over fear din ‘to. Congrats, ate Viy,” a netizen commented on her vlog.

Right after Viy’s reveal of learning to ride a big bike for CongTV, the other Team Payaman girls, namely Pat Velasquez and Vien Ilagan, then disclosed that they also trained to ride a big bike for their partners.

On August 6, Pat’s husband, Boss Keng, uploaded a video of them surprising Team Payaman about riding a big bike. On the next day, Vien also shared on her YouTube channel her training for riding the same bike.

Noting their disclosure about allotting time to train, netizens then praised their courage and showed that women are also capable of the things that men can do.

“Team Payaman girls are standards. They’re proving na kung ano yung kaya ng lalaki, kaya rin nila, and hindi ako na-disapoint. […] Do what makes you happy. tuloy niyo lang ‘yan. Deserved niyo lahat ng achievements niyo sa buhay niyo ngayon,” a netizen commented on Vien’s vlog.

Team Payaman is a group of vloggers in the Philippines that started in 2015. The vloggers were led by Lincoln Velasquez, also known as CongTV.
