The adversity that we are currently facing with the COVID-19 has shown once again, the heroism of the Filipino people. Thanks to our brave healthcare workers and other workforces who are in the frontlines for braving the danger that the pandemic brings just to serve our nation and our countrymen during these difficult times.

The spirit of heroism lives among each and every Filipino, bringing the nation as one in facing the deadly virus that infected and took the lives of thousands of people around the world. The heroism of Filipinos doesn’t end in the frontlines of the COVID-19, even ordinary Filipinos have displayed acts of heroism and compassion during this crisis to help the nation handle the adversity it is facing.

Transportation has been one of the most affected sectors in the Philippines since majority of the country has been placed on lockdown to prevent the spread of the deadly virus. Giving Filipinos, especially frontliners difficulties to travel. To address this, both local and national government units have come up with solutions – free transport services for Filipinos, especially for frontliners.

This dilemma has also been recognized by ordinary Filipino citizens, and to help the government and their countrymen, some of them offered their own vehicle to give those who are in need a helping hand while the country is on lockdown.

One of them is model Trisha Nime, who offers free rides, particularly to frontliners.

Hello guys baka lang po meron po sainyo Gusto Magpahatid sakin or May gusto ipadala like pang medikal or for emergency…

Trisha volunteered to drop off the riders who are around Las Piñas. Apart from this, she also provided her vehicle for medical and emergency purposes.

This kind of act has become a norm among Filipinos especially during times of adversity. It is also one of the reasons why our country is very resilient in facing crisis like the COVID-19. Hope this bring us hope and inspire more Filipinos to unite and overcome any circumstance that will come.
