National government agencies and local government units will hold job fairs nationwide, the Department of Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said Friday.

In a social media post, the department said the 2025 Government Job Fair will be held in 16 regions on Sept. 2 to 5, part of the monthlong celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

“Simultaneously conducted across the country’s 16 regions, the job fair provides opportunities for jobseekers, new graduates and career shifters to apply for positions in national government agencies, local government units, government-owned and controlled corporations, and state universities and colleges,” it added.

The jobs fairs in Luzon will be at Robinsons Place San Fernando City, La Union in Region I (Sept. 2 and 3); SM City Tuguegarao City, Cagayan in Cagayan Valley Region (Sept. 3 ); Robinsons Starmills City of San Fernando, Pampanga in Central Luzon (Sept. 4); Waltermart Batangas, Batangas City in Calabarzon (Sept. 4); SM City Legazpi, Albay in Bicol (Sept. 5); SM City North EDSA, Quezon City in the National Capital Region (Sept. 4); and SM City Baguio, Baguio City in the Cordillera Administrative Region (Sept. 5).

The job fair venues in the Visayas will be SM City Iloilo, Iloilo City in Western Visayas (Sept. 4 and 5); Robinson Galleria Cebu City in Central Visayas (Sept. 4 and 5); and Robinsons North Tacloban in Eastern Visayas (Sept. 5).

In Mindanao, the job fairs will at KCC Mall de Zamboanga, Zamboanga City in the Zamboanga Peninsula (Sept. 5); SM City Cagayan De Oro Downtown Premiere in Northern Mindanao (Sept. 3 and 4); Department of Public Works and Highways Regional Office XI in Davao Region (Sept. 4); KCC Mall of Marbel, Koronadal City in Soccsksargen (Sept. 3 and 4); SM City Butuan in Caraga (Sept. 3 and 4); and KCC Mall Cotabato City in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Sept. 4).

Jobseekers are advised to prepare their fully accomplished personal data sheet (with recent passport-size picture with name and signature); photocopy of Certificate of Eligibility/ratings/license; and photocopy of transcript of records.

Likewise, those who are seeking employment are asked to wear casual or any business attire. (PNA)
