Web Page visitors will be prompted with a message when they go to the Nas Academy website, the online teaching platform under Nas Daily.

In their message, the company intends to work with the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) to settle the issue accordingly.

“We are committed to working with the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) to ensure that all proper processes are followed,” they wrote.

Furthermore, they added to pause all their operations to be able to focus on their future collaborations.

“Meanwhile, we will be pausing our operations in the Philippines to focus on strengthening our processes around how we collaborate with our partners,” Nas Tagalog wrote.

The production company aspires to come back once again and help more Filipinos to share their stories.

On the other hand, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray announced through Cornerstone Entertainment’s Instagram page, that her online course with Nas Academy will not accept new mentees for future classes.

Nas Tagalog, another Facebook page under Nas Daily, dedicated a video to all its Pinoy fans addressing the issue.

In the video, Nas Daily head, Nuseir Yassin speaks in a 6-minute video about the issues linked to their team.

“There is no click-baiting here, there is no ‘put Philippines’ in the title. This is us on the ground doing the work to show you the bright side of the Philippines,” Yassin said.

Furthermore, the vlogger highlighted the issue of “fake news” and debunked the false claims on how he disrespected the locals and made fun of their accents when Louise De Guzman Mabulo shared her experience with Yassin through a special project.

“In response to the “scam” collaboration with the Kalinga tattoo artist, “In everything we do, we get permission. We worked with the family directly and got their consent. We did all of this as an act of support not an act of exploitation,” Yassin cleared out.

“I am angry, and you are angry, and that’s why we paused Nas Academy, for now, to work with NCIP to make sure everything is legal and everything is okay because we care,” he added.

In the later part of his video, the content creator highlighted the importance of character and warned the public to take caution in publicizing their opinions.

“That’s more than one minute. See you tomorrow, “he said.

On the other hand, Mabulo posted on her Facebook page and thanked all the supporters who have been with her and supporting farmers in the country.
