The award-winning actress Nadine Lustre is back with her new film “Greed,” which she co-stars with Diego Loyzaga.
Fans are eager to see the entire film after Yam Laranas, the director of the film and the editor of the official teaser, posted the 45-second teaser on Instagram on February 9.
The official teaser for Greed was also posted on the Facebook page of Vivamax, the entertainment production company behind the film.
The beginning of the “Greed” teaser revolves around romantic scenes between Lustre and Loyzaga’s characters.
In the film, they played a couple who were seen marking their calendars as they tried to win the lottery. As the teaser progressed, it became clear that they had fortunately hit the jackpot, as a short scene of them jumping out of joy appeared in the teaser.
Epy Quizon’s character can be seen wiping cards on a Sto. Niño statue, believing that by doing so, he will gain good fortune and luck. The fire symbol was quickly inserted as a sign of another series of scenes until the final seconds of the teaser brought us to a darker ambience when the couple fought.
Lustre’s fans got goosebumps at the end when she was seen wearing bloody clothes and cackled sadistically after repeatedly hitting someone. Though the teaser is exciting enough to hold viewers’ attention, Director Laranas did not show much about the plot, eliciting online speculation from fans.
The film will be released in April.
