K-pop culture has been dominating in the Philippines over the years. From watching Korean dramas to wanting to be the leading lady of that drama, from listening to K-pop music to wanting to be the one performing.
We cannot deny the fact that we all once wish to be a Korean idol, so as an individual who is fond of Korean culture, it’s a no go to become one of them but it looks like a Filipina-Argentinian will soon join the ranks of K-pop artists conquering the world.
She is Chantal Vidal, a 19-year-old trainee under MLD Entertainment, the home management of K-Pop girl group MOMOLAND.
There is no official announcement yet about her debut but her management is giving hints by posting her photos on their Instagram account since her launch as Chanty last November 2021.
If you are familiar with her, well, it is because she appeared in some teleseryes in ABS-CBN. She was introduced as a member of Star Magic Circle Batch 2018 along with Donny Pangilinan, Tony Labrusca, and Charlie Dizon.
