After announcing her mini-dance contest on TikTok, Filipino actress and dancer Marian Rivera surprised fans as she collaborated with the lucky winner of her dance challenge.

Recently, Marian became trending all over the social media platform – TikTok for her flawless dance moves after taking a break from her dancing career.

After her dance videos went viral, the actress decided to have a little surprise for her fans, considering that some of them also virtually collaborated with her videos.

On September 6, Marian disclosed that she would be choosing a lucky winner with whom she could have a dance collaboration in person. “Feeling grateful for all the amazing dancers who participated in the Sabay Sabay Tayo challenge! You all blew me away. Literal pinahirapan ko sarili ko ang hirap pumili,” she captioned.

In the said video, Marian showed her reactions to the dance covers and was amazed that not only Filipinos engaged with her ‘Sabay Sabay Tayo’ challenge, as she also watched an entry from a foreigner.

Her contest was also catered to all ages, as a senior citizen also submitted an entry for the challenge, which shocked Marian. This has shown that dancing has no limits, as long as a person enjoys what he or she is doing.

After a week of waiting for the winner, Marian has finally announced the lucky winner of her dance challenge, for which she personally had a dance cover in her TikTok account.

“Finally found the perfect caption for this video, and it’s the chosen one,” Marian said. In their collab video, they danced to the tune of the music that made the actress trend across TikTok.

The lucky winner was Ceejay Laqui, who is also a content creator on TikTok and loves to upload his own dance covers, which made Marian choose him among the challenge participants.

“I got the opportunity to dance with Marian Rivera!” Laqui commented on Marian’s TikTok video.

“Actually, nung nalaman ko po siya nasa bahay po ako, tapos po nakita ko po ‘yung chat ni Ate Marian,” Laqui said in an interview with local media.

With the talent of both Marian and Laqui, netizens then showed love to their TikTok video, saying how the winner deserved to have a collab video with the artist.

Taking the opportunity to see more videos of Marian dancing, netizens also requested that the artist have a dance challenge of her dancing to the tune of ‘Marimar,’ which became her most-known dance as she starred in the local adaptation of the show.
