Mariah Carey, the all-time favorite Christmas singer, is ready to pick up her game after Halloween. Despite the fact that Thanksgiving has yet to occur, the artist has unofficially kicked off the Christmas season by crushing a pumpkin.

The R&B icon took a candy cane baseball bat and smashed the middle pumpkin that reads “not,” to the sound of her immortal hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” It then displays a living room decorated for Christmas, including a fireplace, stockings on the shelf, and Carey sprinkling “snow.”

“Ready? Let’s go,” Carey wrote next to the hashtag “#MariahSZN.”

In addition, the best-selling Christmas single by a female artist and one of the best-selling singles ever is “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

For her second holiday album, Merry Christmas II You, in 2010, Carey re-recorded the song. A duet version of the song was recorded with Justin Bieber for his album Under the Mistletoe in 2011 and is available on iTunes.
