The Uswag Ilonggo regional party-list is committed to serve the youth community of Western Visayas by creating employment opportunities and providing livelihood trainings related to handicraft, food processing and the likes in different communities so that learning will be nurtured especially among youth.

Just recently, Uswag Ilonggo conducted trainings for hablon weavers in Iloilo province’s Badiangan town and for abaca weavers in Janiuay town. These two thriving industries have significant roles in elevating the cultural and local livelihood in which the youth can also benefit from.

“The objective of the townhall meeting is to ensure our partners like you nga ara sa youth sector, maka-contribute man for the development in every part of Region 6,” Uswag Ilonggo Party-list told the youth leaders that they will be prioritized by providing them venues to collaborate on projects and initiatives addressing key issues in the region.

In general, Uswag Ilonggo aims to elevate the lives of Western Visayans through programs that promote change, inclusivity and progress throughout the region.
