ABS-CBN’s “Linlang,” the number one show on Prime Video Philippines, continues to make waves in the country and abroad as scenes from the series continue to go viral on social media and earn praises from netizens.

A few hours after the latest episode dropped on Prime Video last Thursday, Kim Chiu (Juliana) and Kaila Estrada’s (Sylvia) confrontation scene trended on social media with netizens complimenting both Kapamilya stars for their superb acting skills.

Others also commended Paulo Avelino’s (Victor) dramatic scene with Maricel Soriano (Amelia), saying that the Kapamilya leading man truly showcased his acting chops alongside the one and only Diamond Star.

In the show’s thanksgiving media conference, Kim Chiu says she enjoys reading the hate messages she is receiving from fans who are furious because of Juliana’s infidelity and deception.

“Ito ‘yung masasabi kong hate that I love, ‘yung hate messages that I love… Masaya talaga ako rito sa kind of hate na natatanggap ko,” Kim said. The Kapamilya star said she is also grateful to the show’s directors, FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin, for the guidance as she navigated her complex and dark role as Juliana.

Paulo Avelino, who plays Juliana’s husband Victor, also thanked the creative team behind “Linlang” for the show’s success.

“I am grateful. It took some time to adjust with everyone on the set. Pero ‘yun nga kumbaga ang performance ko rito wouldn’t be that way kung hindi dahil sa creatives namin, sa directors namin,” Paulo said, noting that he had to go through major weight changes to effectively portray his role as a boxer turned seaman in the series.

JM de Guzman, who plays Atty. Alex Lualhati, Victor’s scheming brother, is also glad of “Linlang’s” success.

“Sobrang grateful nga po na marami ang nagko-comment at nagpi-feedback, maraming tumatangkilik at marami ring galit sa akin, maraming napipikon. Maganda po talaga ang pagkasulat ng script, kaya susunod na lang po ako,” de Guzman shared.

Meanwhile, “Linlang’s” plot just got thicker as the teaser for the next episodes featured the commencement of Victor’s (Paulo Avelino) revenge on Juliana and Alex (JM De Guzman) that will definitely thrill viewers.

Produced by ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment, “Linlang” is available on Prime Video with two episodes dropping every Thursday. It is also available in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
