On her 52nd birthday, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino updated her fans with her current medical condition, describing it as heartbreaking news for her.
On February 14, Aquino posted on Instagram that they had finally found a new place in the United States as she sought medical treatment.
In the said post, the actress also revealed her recent lab results about her health condition.
The actress admitted that she cried over the heartbreaking news, but she tried to consider its early detection as a blessing in disguise.
“I promised myself after reading my latest results that had 1 unexpected & admittedly scary red flag (not autoimmune related) after iniyak ko na, tama na. If ever that borderline number signals early detection, I am still blessed. In faith, I surrender all to God,” Aquino said.
Apart from updating her fans regarding her treatment, Aquino also expressed her gratitude towards the people who constantly pray for her recovery.
“In advance, thank you because you continue to give me the best gift anybody in my situation could ask for, your prayers,” she said.
Aquino further mentioned that she has a wonderful support system while in the United States as she undergoes treatment.
“I have a wonderful support system from my 2 sons, Alvin, Rochelle, Ate Rome, old friends & new friends here in the US. But you need to be a very determined man of your word to fly 13 hours each way to spend a few days with me on my birthday. For his effort I am GRATEFUL,” she added.
Kris Aquino has been battling a number of autoimmune conditions since last year, and her update definitely worried her fans even more.
