The Korean embassy in the Philippines is temporarily closing its consular office after one of its security personnel tested positive for coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
In an advisory, the embassy said the staff member was diagnosed on July 17.
“He has been on duty from Monday (July 13) to Friday (July 17), thus for those who have visited the office during the time should take note,” it said.
“In accordance with prescribed health protocols, the Consular Office of the Korean embassy will effect a temporary closure for three days to give way to disinfection from July 20 to July 22, 2020,” it added.
The embassy said the resumption of services by the said office will remain subject to the test results of its consular personnel. (PNA)
