Korean Air (KE) has canceled a number of its Incheon-Manila flights due to constraints in Manila’s quarantine capacity.

In an advisory posted on its Facebook page on Wednesday, KE announced the cancellation of flight KE623 on the following dates: Sept. 9-12, Sept. 15-19, Sept.21, Sept. 23-26, Sept. 28, Sept. 30.

The carrier will only mount a Manila-bound flight from Incheon on Sept. 13, 14, 20, 22, 27, and 29.

Flight KE624 Manila-Incheon, on the other hand, is operational from Sept. 1 to Dec. 31, based on the advisory.

KE earlier reduced its operations between Manila and Incheon, with KE622 Manila-Incheon flight still canceled from Sept. 1-30.

Affected passengers, KE said, may rebook or reroute their tickets, with rebooking fee waived.

They may also opt for a refund, with refund penalty waived.

Currently, airport authorities allow 3,000 passengers of inbound international flights daily at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. (PNA)
